THE RIGHTEOUS ROAD TRIP is the 40 minute documentary by Oscar winning filmmaker Vanessa Roth, that takes us on a heartwarming holiday journey with Jewish humanitarian Jonny Daniels & his dog Tyson, as they travel 3100KM across Poland, Slovakia and Hungary in a van filled with Christmas trees and gifts for the last living Righteous Among The Nations; the extraordinary people who saved the lives of Jewish people during the Holocaust – of which less than 65 are still alive today. Filled with a poignant mix of urgency, love, humor and joy (and lots of Christmas sweaters); Jonny reaches across generations, religions and cultures into history to hear their first-hand accounts of unparalleled courage and to honor them as the pillars of human’s capacity for goodness.
